ESP x Jeremy Audet
Bringing Jeremy Audet’s photos series ‘Breaking Ice and Rock: Yosemite’ together with Elisabeth Stray Pedersen’s Collection No.5, you are invited to a self discovery journey into the rocky nature full of daring spirits.
Norwegian designer Elisabeth Stray Pedersen launched her fifth collection this winter under her fashion label ESP. To support local production and quality garments, Stray Pedersen produces her pieces from 100% pure Norwegian lambs wool in her own stitching factory in Drammen, Norway. With a focus on natural fabrics and great fit, ESP offers minimal and comfortable clothes that reflect a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance. The inspiration behind Collection No.5 is the classical kid with a hint of a punk rebellion. The pure, clean, monochrome lines are mixed with mesh and uneven embroideries, playing with colors and shapes. The collection embodies the free spirited attitude, and subtle rebellious and quirky look.
19 years old, Jeremy Audet has lived and journeyed across continents, pursuing his love for outdoors, biking and photography. In the last year, he has travelled to the Adirondack mountains, Yosemite, San Francisco; biked 377 km over three days from Victoriaville to Bic; and hiked alone for two weeks in Iceland. His work on Yosemite documents his encounters with the stories of the valley – from natives to pioneers, climbers to tourists, and the youth in search of identity. Yosemite was a personal documentary of the artist’s self discovery. As he stated: “Yosemite was just the beginning. It is where I broke the ice, and rock, to my future. It is where I felt, for the first time, a proud sense of accomplishment and well-being. It is where I understood many things about myself and the world that surrounds me. It is where I rediscovered and discovered myself. It is where I began my being.”
Among others, Jeremy Audet is also a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. He released his first album ‘How I Waste A Moment’ in August 2016.
