Architectural Lines

Marlich x TJ Tambellini

Marlich is a bag and accessories label based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It's debut collection 'The Barnett' distinguishes itself through the intentional contrast between the natural aspect of leather and synthetic material. Designer Marine Delplanque is drawn to the architectural lines in buildings, and how they have become organic over time.

'The Barnett’ distinguishes itself through the intentional contrast between the natural aspect of leather and synthetic material. The collection found its playful balance between showing and hiding what is not meant to be seen at first glance.

Marine is inspired by the work of TJ Tambellini, a Los Angeles based artist, who focuses on photography and sculptural compositions. Through abstract observations of the subject details, his work uncovers seemingly causal relationships between organic and inorganic. The works of two artists are beautifully connected through their approach to structure and vivid complementing palates.
