We are happy to welcome you to Acreati.com and look forward to your use of the platform and services! Acreati B.V. (Acreati) is a contemporary fashion platform where you can shop through visual stories and discover new designers. Our mission is to bring authentic fashion to the world.

1. Our rules

This document sets out the rules (Terms) you should adhere to when using the Acreati platform (Acreati Platform). These Terms are legally binding between you and Acreati B.V. Please make sure you read these Terms carefully so you are aware of how you can responsibly use the Acreati Platform. If you don’t agree with these terms you will not be able to use our platform.

We may change these terms from time to time, but if we do so we will always let you know via email and/or on Acreati.com.

2. Your Acreati Account

To order and buy items on the Acreati Platform you will first be required to create a user account (Account). Always make sure to provide us with accurate information about yourself and make sure to pick a strong password to ensure that no one else is able to use your account. In order to use the Acreati platform you must be at least 18 years or older.

After creating your Account you are fully responsible for all the activity associated with your Account. You can be sure that your personal information is in safe hands. In order to process your orders the designers are provided with the personal information that is necessary for them to fulfill the order, such as your full name and address. 3. Using the Acreati Platform

When using the Acreati Platform we expect:

Compliance with law. That you will not violate any laws in connection with your use of the Acreati Platform.

Proper behaviour. You agree at all times to act dutifully and in good faith in relation to Acreati and designers, this includes acting in accordance with these Terms. If you do not act in accordance with these Terms or general proper conduct we have the right to remove you from the Acreati Platform.

4. Purchasing goods on Acreati

Purchase process. When you purchase goods on the Acreati Platform you do so directly from one of the designers on the Acreati Platform and enter into a contract with the designer. The designers on the Acreati Platform have gone through a strict selection process to ensure that you experience great customer service. As a service to you and the designers you may contact us directly for any questions you may have about your order via hello@acreati.com.

When purchasing goods always make sure you have:
(i) read the item description properly; and
(ii) filled out the accurate contact, payment and shipping details.

Taxes and import duties. All items on the Acreati Platform are inclusive of VAT. Please note additional import duties or taxes may apply to cross-border purchases. For example, if you are situated in the United States and are purchasing from a Designer in the Netherlands you may need to pay import charges. The import charges depend on the value of the products. Any such charges must be borne by you, Acreati and the designers have no control over such charges. To prevent any surprises when ordering goods on the Acreati Platform we recommend you check your local customers officials for more information on import duties and taxes that may apply in your country.

Payments and payment methods. At the moment we offer PayPal and credit card payments via Stripe. On Acreati, we take all reasonable care to ensure that payments via Acreati are safe, secure and simple. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which is the industry standard for the secure processing of customer orders.

5. Shipping

After placing an order via the Acreati Platform, this order is received by the designer. The designer strives to ship directly to you within 2 business days after you have placed the order. If for any reason the designer is not able to ship your order within 2 business days, the designer will inform you directly. If you have placed an order for a custom made item or place an order on a bank holiday or during the holiday season, longer shipping times will apply and the designer will inform you on a case-by-case basis.

6. Taxes and import duties

Depending on your country, tax and import duties may apply to your order. You will be responsible for payment of these import taxes and duties.

7. Return and refunds

If you are a customer in the European Union you are protected by mandatory consumer law. This means that you may return products to the designer within 14 days and are entitled to a refund of the initial payment fee. Returns. To ensure that the return process goes smoothly you should follow the instructions on the return form that the designer makes available to you. The item you are returning is your responsibility until it reaches the designer. Therefore, we recommend using a parcel delivery service so you are able to check the status of your return and are also insured in the event that something goes wrong. You are responsible for the costs of returning your items, unless specified otherwise. If you decide to return the products, we strongly advise you to inform Acreati via the “My Order” page as soon as possible of your intention to return the products.

Conditions for returns. You may only return products as long as they are (i) unwashed, (ii) unused, (iii) in the original undamaged packaging (carefully opened packaging will not be considered damaged) and (iv) if the products are complete (for example, when returning shoes, both pairs must be returned).  

Refunds. Once the designer has received the returned items in the same state as they were sent to you, you will eligible for a refund of the initial payment (including original shipping costs, express delivery or other non-standard additional shipping costs are not eligible for a refund). The refund process may take up to 14 days after the designer has received the goods. Refunds will be made with the same payment method you used to order the goods. It could take up to 14 days to process the payments. Please note, import taxes and duties will not be included in the refund.

Custom made items. Please note, items that were custom made for you by the Designer are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Acreati store credits. If you have purchased items with store credits and decide to return the items, you will first be reimbursed with Acreati store credit.

8. Acreati Referral Program - How does it work?

Sharing your invitation link. You can obtain Acreati store credit by sharing your personal invitation link with your friends via email and Facebook.

Acreati credit. Every friend you invite will receive €20 Acreati store credit when registering with Acreati. For every friend that registers with Acreati and also makes a purchase of at least €100 (excluding shipping costs), you will receive €20 in Acreati store credit two weeks after the purchase was made and under the condition that the purchase was not returned.

Validity of store credit. The Acreati store credit will be valid for 8 months and can only be used for purchases with a value of more than €100 (excluding shipping costs).

9. Customer Service

We want the best customer experience imaginable for you. Therefore, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or queries you may have. If you have complaints about the designer we may contact the designer on your behalf to ensure that your problems are solved as soon as reasonably possible. You can always reach us via customer@acreati.com and make sure to mention your name, username, your order number and complaint so we can adequately help you.
