We are happy to welcome you to Acreati and look forward to your use of the platform and services. Acreati is a contemporary fashion destination where customers shop through visual stories. Our mission is to bring authentic fashion to the world.

1. Accepting these Terms

This document set outs the rules you should adhere to when using the Acreati platform (Terms). These Terms are legally binding between you and Acreati B.V. (Acreati). Please make sure you read these Terms carefully so you are aware of how you can responsibly use our platform and services (Services). If you don’t agree with these terms you will not be able to use our Services. These terms supersede any previous agreement between you and Acreati.

We may change these terms from time to time, but if we do so we will always let you know via email and on our website ( Your continued use of the Services will mean that you accept the changes to the terms.

2. Your Acreati Account

In order to use the Services you will first be required to create an account on Acreati. Creating an account does not automatically mean that you will be able to use the Services. After creating your account we will review your proposal and contact you at the email address you have provided to us. Acreati’s unique curation of designers is primarily based on following criteria:

  • Product quality;
  • Design aesthetics and story;
  • Visual presentation;
  • Level of customer service.

The strong curation and the cooperation of designers, enables Acreati to offer a differentiated fashion venue to our mutual customers.

Always make sure to provide us with accurate information about yourself and/or your company, in order to use the Acreati platform you must be at least 18 years or older. When you are registering on behalf of your company, you personally guarantee that you are authorised to agree to these Terms on behalf of your business. Please be aware that you may not transfer your account to someone else. Also, we may remove commercial advertisements, affiliate links and other forms of solicitation that we deem inappropriate on our platform at our sole discretion.

After creating your account you are fully responsible for all the activity associated with your account. Make sure to pick a strong password to ensure that no one else is able to use your account.

You can be sure that your personal information is in safe hands with us. If you want to know for what purposes we use your personal information, please read our privacy policy.

The creation of the account does not in any way create a legal partnership, joint venture, employment or franchise relationship between you and Acreati.

3. Content

The content you post when using our Services remains your content. Acreati will not claim any content that is yours. This includes the pictures, videos, comments, blog posts, descriptions etc. that you post using our Services.

When uploading content make sure that you have all the necessary rights to the content and do not infringe or violate any rights of third parties. As noted above, you remain solely responsible for the content you post and send to Acreati when using our Services.

When posting content using our Services you provide Acreati with a license to use the content. We need this license in order to use and promote your content on our platform as well as any other related platform.

The license you provide to Acreati for your content is a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licensable, perpetual license to use, display, create visual stories, edit, modify, reproduce, distribute, store, and prepare derivative works of the content to provide the Services and to promote Acreati, the Services in general, in any formats and through any channels, including across any Acreati Services or third-party website or advertising medium.

What does this license mean in practice and why does Acreati need this license? For example, when you post your products or designs via our Services we require this license to promote your products on other parts of our website or on other platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest. The license also enables us to present your work on our website in an aesthetically appealing way and to create visual stories to sell and promote your products.

We reserve the right to delete any content we believe is inappropriate or does not adhere to the values and principles of Acreati.

If you come across inappropriate, false or infringing content please let us know! We will we review this content and will remove the content from our Services. Send an email to with “Takedown Request” in the subject title and we will take care of it.

4. Using the Acreati Services

When you sign up to Acreati we provide you with a license to use our Services. The license we grant you is a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use our Services. The license is subject to the Terms and subject to the following restrictions:

Compliance with law. You agree that you will not violate any laws in connection with your use of the Services. Also, you understand that you are solely responsible for complying with mandatory consumer law.

Paying taxes. You are responsible for paying any applicable taxes for any sales you make through our Services.

Proper behaviour. You agree at all times to act dutifully and in good faith in relation to Acreati, this includes acting in accordance with these Terms.

5. Service fee

When you sell products on our website we will charge a service fee of 30% excluding VAT on every sale. The 30% service fee will be based on the product price including VAT (if applicable), plus shipping. After you have sold the product through the Services we receive the payment and pay you in the middle of the next month if and when the return period of fourteen (14) days has lapsed (Return Period) and the customer has not invoked its right of withdrawal (right to return or cancel the transaction). The Return Period commences on the date the customer has received the product. Please note, the Return Period does not apply to custom made designs or products.

6. Designer Support

To make sure you fully benefit from our Services we offer you with the following support:

  • General enquiry;
  • Designer onboarding;
  • Product selection and advisory;
  • IT support;
  • Order coordination when necessary;
  • Payment and customer complaints.

7. Termination

We don’t want you to leave our platform, but if you wish to terminate your relationship with Acreati you can do so by contacting us per email at Your termination will not affect Acreati’s rights to display some of your content on the platform. After termination you will still be required to pay any outstanding invoices to us.

We may also terminate or suspend your account as well as access to the Services at any time, for any reason and without advance notice. You don’t have any contractual or legal right to use the Services. If we terminate your account, you may lose any information that you have uploaded and/or information that is associated with your account. It is your responsibility to keep back-ups of the content.

We also reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue the Services at any time and for any reason. We are not liable for any damages that you may incur as a result of these changes. This limitation includes but is not limited to any loss of income or ability to generate revenue through the Services.  

8. Warranties and indemnities

You warrant that the products you sell:

a. are of satisfactory quality and fitness for purpose;
b. at least match the inventory of your online shop(s) (if such shop exists);
c. ensure that the prices of the products are always aligned with the lowest price of your products in other online and offline shops;
d. you offer free shipping to customers located in the same continent in accordance with the obligations set forth in paragraph 9 Designer obligations;
e. do not breach or infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; and
f. comply with all local laws and regulations concerning design, manufacture, composition, packaging and labeling.

You also indemnify Acreati and hold Acreati harmless against all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, losses, costs and expenses made or brought against or incurred by Acreati which are attributable to any breach of the warranties or any fault or defect in the materials or workmanship of the Product or to any instructions from or act default or omission on your part.

In case of price difference detected across Designer’s sale channels, Acreati has the right to adjust the price according to the Terms set forth above.

9. Designer obligations

We want our customers to experience the best customer service imaginable. Therefore, we need you to play by the following rules:

Responding. When a customer places an order via Acreati you should respond to this order request within 48 hours after having received the request by updating the order status on the Acreati platform.

Updating stock. You are responsible for keeping the stock on Acreati up-to-date at all times. If a customer successfully ordered an item that is out-of-stock due to the stock information not correctly updated, a penalty of €80 will be charged in cash to the designer. If the penalty is not paid within 2 weeks, an additional €20 will be charged each week 2 weeks after the penalty is not paid.

Shipping. After having processed this request you are required to ship the products within 48 hours to ensure that delivery happens timely and by using the shipping method mentioned on your account page. A free-of-charge shipping policy applies on the Acreati platform when shipping products to customers situated in the same continent.

Delivery. You remain responsible for your package until it reaches the customer at the address provided by the customer.

Return. Some customers may wish to return some of the products they have ordered. Please make sure you clearly inform customers that they have the right to return their products within 14 days after having received the product.

Notify Acreati. If your customer has returned a product, please make sure to notify us via As a service to you, for selected countries, we will provide customers with a return label so they can return the products to you.

For European customers, please make sure you are well aware of your obligations under the Consumer Rights Directive and its implementation in local consumer laws. Are you unfamiliar with consumer rights? Please make sure to read the guidance provided by the EU (available here or here).

10. Governing law and disputes

We hope to never get in a dispute with you, but in the event that this does happen the Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Amsterdam.
